Note: The power supply, LED strips and cable cross-section must match the operating voltage and current requirements of the installation. GPIO connections IO5, IO18 and IO33 are connected directly to the controller chip, are not 5V tolerant and must not be exposed to voltages above 3.3V.
Installation Notes
- Before switching on the power, check that all electrical connections are correct and securely tightened.
- Never connect, disconnect or repair the device while it is powered.
- Operate the controller only within the specified voltage and current limits.
- Connect digital LED strips to the designated output terminals using V+, DATA and GND.
- IO2 and IO16 are available as data lines for two LED strips.
- IO5, IO18 and IO33 are not 5V tolerant and must only be used with signals up to 3.3V.
- Use adequately sized cables and a suitable power supply for high-current installations.
- The IP20 rating requires installation in a dry and protected environment.
- For reliable wireless communication, avoid installation inside closed metal enclosures or areas with strong magnetic fields.
- Observe the permitted operating temperature range of -20 °C to +45 °C.
