The GLEDOPTO AquaX Z1 is a versatile 5-in-1 PWM LED controller for RGBCCT, RGBW, RGB, CCT and single-color LED strips. ZigBee and 2.4GHz RF provide flexible integration into compatible smart home systems as well as direct operation with suitable wireless remote controls.

With five selectable operating modes, the AquaX Z1 is suitable for a wide range of LED projects and can control color, tunable-white or single-color LED strips using PWM.

ZigBee and 2.4GHz RF in one controller
The AquaX Z1 can be connected to a compatible ZigBee 3.0 gateway for smart home integration. Examples shown include Philips Hue, Amazon Echo Plus and Yandex Alice. Available functions may vary depending on the gateway and its software.
The controller also supports ZigBee TouchLink and 2.4GHz RF. Compatible wireless remote controls or touch panels can therefore be used for direct lighting control. When the controller and remote are connected to the same ZigBee network, up to 30 remote controls can be linked to one device via TouchLink. With direct TouchLink without a shared ZigBee network, one remote control can be connected per device.

Installation Notes
- Check all wiring for correct and secure connections before switching on the power.
- Carry out wiring work only when the system is disconnected from power.
- Only use the controller with the supported DC voltages of 5V, 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V.
- The connected LED load must not exceed 10A per channel or 15A total output current.
- Select the correct RGBCCT, RGBW, RGB, CCT or Dimmer device mode before connecting the LED strip.
- For ZigBee TouchLink pairing, position the controller and remote control or touch panel less than 10cm apart.
- Avoid metal-shielded installation locations and strong magnetic fields, as these may interfere with wireless signal transmission.
- Do not open or disassemble the controller.
- Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures and other harsh environmental conditions.

Which LED strips can the AquaX Z1 control?
The controller supports five operating modes: RGBCCT, RGBW, RGB, CCT and Dimmer. It can therefore be used with several different types of constant-voltage LED strips.
Which input voltages does the controller support?
The controller supports DC 5V, 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V. The power supply and LED strip must be suitable for the same operating voltage.
What is the maximum LED output current?
The maximum output current is 10A per channel. The total output current of the controller must not exceed 15A.
Can the controller be operated via ZigBee?

TouchLink allows the controller to be paired directly with a compatible ZigBee remote control or touch panel. During pairing, the devices should be positioned less than 10cm apart.
Can the controller remember its status after a power failure?
Yes. A power-off memory function can be enabled using the OPT button. It remembers the on/off state before the power interruption. By default, the lighting switches on when power is restored.
Can the PWM frequency be changed?
Yes. Available settings are 600Hz, 800Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz, 4000Hz and 8000Hz. The default setting is 1000Hz.
Are multiple outputs controlled separately in CCT or Dimmer mode?
No. In CCT mode, the two designated CCT outputs are controlled simultaneously. In Dimmer mode, the five single-color LED outputs are also controlled together rather than independently.
